the moment i saw this photograph, i had to draw it, i love the way the eyes are shadowed out.
i drew this one while on an outward bound hiking trip, they left us alone in the woods of Maine for 24 hours so i basically sat there and drew.

What I used:
Charcoal pencils
stretchy eraser
blending stub
